Summer Market - outdoors (next to city hall) - 9 am to 1 pm
Winter Market - indoors (county fairgrounds exhibit hall) - 10 am - 2 pm

Local organic growers, market gardeners and green thumbs bring their fresh produce to the market. Saturday mornings you will find them busy setting up their tables with the season's best. Early in the season the tables are loaded with peas, lettuces, greens, radishes, new potatoes, and herbs. Later, the season brings varieties of berries, peppers, broccoli, peaches, pickling cucumbers, carrots, corn onions, squash, tomatoes, apples, and much more.

The Newport Farmers' Market has more than produce and garden blooms. You will find beautiful arts and crafts, unique services and fun events. Hand made soaps, knitted and felted hats, garden art, wooden planters, beautiful jewelry, tie dye clothing, photography, art glass, and much, much more. You can also get a massage and listen to great music! All of the handcrafted items at the Market are made by local artists. A fun place to shop for the perfect gift.

Event Description: "Trick or Treat, Monster Feet 5K and kids "fun run" is a Halloween-themed, costume encouraged foot race held South Beach, Oregon. The kids fun run will have plenty of trick or treating opportunities along the nearly 1 mile route through The Port of Newport property taking participants through the marina. The 5K will begin shortly after the kids run.

There will be cash prizes for overall winners and best dressed judged by our local Rotarian costume experts. All proceeds go to The Rotary Club of Newport.

Post event activities include: Rogue pumpkin ale, Rogue brutal bitter IPA, Rogue root beer, pulled pork sandwiches, refreshments, and more!

Event Description: On Saturday, October 24th, 6:00 p.m., the Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce will host their seventh annual Scary-Okie "Shake, Rattle & Roll" event at the Rogue Cooperage in South Beach. Members and guests may wear their favorite costumes, or are welcome to "come as you are." Tickets are $30 per person and include: wine/beer, dinner, dancing, door prizes, and musical entertainment. Table Sponsorships are also available for $295, and are an excellent way for businesses to say "thank you" to their staff. Event Description: The 15th Annual Oyster Cloyster Festival on the Oregon Coast will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015. Once again, the event will be hosted at the Oregon Coast Aquarium at 6:30pm.

The Oyster Cloyster is an exceptional event where you can indulge your sense of pleasure with original culinary creations prepared by the Chefs of the Oyster Cloyster, making it an experience to savor. Proceeds from the event benefit both the Oregon Coast Community College's Aquarium Science Program as well as the Oregon Coast Aquarium.

General Admission Tickets cost $75 and include: admission to the 2015 Oyster Cloyster. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are included. There will be a no-host bar also available. Oregon Coast Aquarium members qualify for a $65 ticket price. Pearl Level Tickets cost $175 and include admission to the 2015 Oyster Cloyster, early admission to the VIP event at 6:00pm, two (2) drink tickets, and an exclusive 2015 Oyster Cloyster gift.
