Carl’s Coffee

Come for the Stumptown Coffee, stay for the awesome food menu! As well as serving some of the best espresso drinks around, Carl’s Coffee in Nye Beach serves 100% fruit smoothies, hot chocolate, hot or iced teas, and Italian sodas. With fresh pastries from La Maison (we’ll visit them in a minute), hearty breakfast scrambles, fresh Quiche made daily, and their signature Cuban sandwich, the food at Carl’s is also top-notch. Panini Bakery

Stop in for coffee or an espresso drink and fuel up with a freshly baked bite to eat. Also in Nye Beach, Panini Bakery will wake you up in the morning or regenerate you in the middle of your adventures! In addition to great coffee and espresso drinks, Panini specializes in fresh baked pastries, breads and other baked goods (the bread is so good that it is featured on the menus of other local restaurants). Café Mundo

Café Mundo’s extensive espresso menu is sure to give you the boost you’re looking for! Specializing in fair trade, organic, Peruvian coffee, they have two micro-batch varieties available: House Roast (medium) and Devil’s Churn (Dark). You’ll love their smooth, full-flavored coffees that have been carefully roasted to bring out the complex aroma that’s hidden inside. Surf Town Coffee Company

This shop roasts their own beans with love! If you crave 100% organic, 100% fair trade eco-friendly coffee, Surf Town has the cup of Joe just for you. With names like Shortboard Light (American Roast), Deadliest Dark (XX French Roast), Stay Positive (Italian Roast), and Longboard Dark (French Roast), their passion is delivering a wonderful cup of coffee every time you visit. The Coffee House

Located amidst the hustle and bustle of the Historic Bayfront, the Coffee House (the building) was actually floated down the Yaquina River from the town of Yaquina in 1932, and rolled on logs to its present site! The coffee house serves superb drip coffee, and has a gourmet breakfast and lunch menu featuring their legendary biscuits and gravy, and amazing “Pasties.” Their traditional Cornish Pasties are made with turnip, carrot, onion, potato, and herbs, and can include premium Angus beef if you’d like. 156 SW Bay Blvd., Historic Bayfront

La Maison

French for “the house” or “home,” La Maison specializes in pastries and cakes that are a perfect complement to your morning or afternoon coffee. Their huge espresso drinks are just what you need to help celebrate National Coffee Day! In addition, La Maison has an incredible French-inspired breakfast and lunch menu that features omelets, crepes, sandwiches, soups, and salads. They also recently began serving dinner on Friday evenings from 5-8:30 pm, and reservations are accepted but not required.  315 SW 9th St., Downtown Deco District
